1. What happens if the jute rug gets wet?

Ans. Jute turns brown when it gets wet, as it releases oils. If the rugs have to be cleaned do not wash it with water rather go for good vacuuming and low moisture cleaning methods.    

2. Are Jute rugs hard to maintain?

Ans. Jute rugs are easy to clean and generally requires only a standard vacuuming. For heavier stains, one can use a half portion of water and half portion of white vinegar mixture. It’s also vital to dry cleaned areas quickly, to avoid water stains and residual discoloration.                     

3. Are jute Rugs of low maintenance?

Ans. Jute is fairly of low maintenance. Natural fibre rugs and carpets tend to mask dirt, hence dust them well or simple vacuuming should be enough to keep your carpets looking beautiful long term.                                                

4. Do jute rug smell?

Ans. Jute rugs can have an off smell to them at first, it doesn’t have a strong smell rather more of an earthy smell for a few days after you unpack them. It is actually the smell of burlap or rope. 

5. Can we use carpet cleaner for jute rugs?

Ans. Sorry, you cannot use a carpet cleaner to wash a jute rug. However, jute is extremely tough material, hence it won’t get dirty soon.
